The Brief
To design and deliver a world class brand activation, celebrating the 2024 launch of the McDonald’s Monopoly campaign. In conjunction with leading PR agency Red Consultancy, D&F Creative were tasked with developing a live marketing campaign that would launch the McDonald’s Monopoly competition in style; delivering ROI in the form of public attention and participation, press coverage and social media sharing.
The Vision
Our creative teams carefully planned a fully interactive brand experience, with customer journey at the forefront. We drew inspiration from classic TV game shows and modern interactive gamified experiences, to develop a meticulously planned public experience.
The Event: The live activation featured a giant ‘prize grabber burger’ as its centrepiece, where players grabbed silver and gold peels, for the chance to win huge prizes. Contestants then headed to our glorious spin the wheel station, merchandise stand, or McDonald’s mystery box podium, in the search for even more prizes. Our iconic Golden Arches installation served as the perfect photographic backdrop, encouraging both influencer content and UGC alike.
The Results
The McDonald’s Monopoly activation 2024 was a huge PR and media success, with 13 online articles produced to cover the event, hundreds of guests taking part In the activation and two lucky prize winners of a fantastic TUI holiday.
