The Brief
To deliver an inclusive and family friendly sports fan zone activation for LIV Golf Jeddah 2023, utilising global phenomenon NERF as our brand of choice. As golf is a new sport in KSA, the inclusion of NERF was strategically designed to broaden the fan zone’s appeal to a wider, multi-generational demographic.
The Vision
In keeping with LIV Golf’s approach to sport, we sought to deliver a fan zone activation that was truly inclusive, developed to be enjoyed by a broad range of guests, regardless of age, gender or ability.
The Event: Harnessing the power of global brand NERF, we curated an interactive NERF football and vortex experience that combined team sports, family-friendly viewing zones and a striking ‘winners podium’ photo opportunity. Each guest received medals, prizes, branded NERF lanyards and booklets, boosting the visibility of the activation across the wider tournament and encouraging repeat participation.
The Results
The NERF zone was the most popular attraction at the fan zone, drawing 350-400 participants per day over the three day tournament. Across the event our team handed out over 2,000 NERF booklets and lanyards, increasing brand visibility and boosting the popularity of the activation significantly. Targeted LIV Golf x NERF social media content received over 171K likes across IG, X and TikTok.
Increasing children’s attendance by 100% in 2023.
